I am transcribing songs from Nashville notation to a standard chord chart. I need to be able to enter the Nashville number, select all, transpose, print a standard chord chart.... I have found that I can enter C, G, F, C chords and select Nashville B notation and the sheet displays 1, 5, 4, 1. But is there a way to switch the order (enter Nashville numbers first) and put it in any key? I hope that makes sense.

Even when you have selected Nashville B, you still need to type the I chord with a letter to get the 1. So, if you're in C, type C and the 1 will show. If you try to type 1, Finale can't handle it.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping there would be a way for that to work... the charts I’m getting from the song writer are in Nashville notation and I need to transcribe them. It sure would be easy to put in what he sends and then push a button and pick the key I need!

If it was always that easy, they wouldn’t need us!
