Enter the four notes as quarter notes.

Selection Tool.
Select the measure with the quarter notes.

Plug-ins menu > TG Tools > Easy Tremolos…

For Your Information:

The plug-in creates the layout as a nothing-displaying tuplet:
1 Quarter in the space of 1 Half
Then, replaces the closed noteheads with open noteheads (half note noteheads).
