I have a couple places in this piece where there are 3 Triplet 16ths and the last one is tied to a standard 8th note and followed by an 8th rest. The attached chart will better explain. Finale then beams it into the next phrase and it makes it unreadable, to me. I need the beam to break...it's kind of a mess. This happens in measure 22.
Earlier, in measure 15 there is something similar without the tie and it happens at the end of a measure but it looks just right.

Just break the beam with the / key where needed. Be on the note after the rest, in either Simple or Speedy, and press the / key to break the beam.

I'm a little confused. Based on where the 3 is, it looks like you have three 16ths and an 8th, gathered as a triplet. Is the 8th note part of the triplet?

Is this what you have in mind? If not, could you please spell it out for me?

Also, it's customary to have a slur over the phrase, not note to note to note, as you have them.

Displaying the brackets reveals that your triplets were entered wrong, which explains the odd beaming.

It is kind of confusing the way the 3 is placed. It's supposed to be 3 triplet 16ths with the last one tied to an 8th note - equal to one full beat. Here it is updated. Although when translated to the tablature staff Finale seems confused.

Actually Miker, you've got it right! I'll fix it and then it should work out!

It's not just that you've included the eighth--you've started on the second 16th in the outer tuplets. Look closely where the brackets are here. This is why Finale seems confused.

miker somewhere has a good tutorial on how to enter triplets.
