I have a large monitor and zoom in or out, but how does one make the tool larger?

In the options of the programme -> Palettes and Backgrounds, Palettes, check : Use Large Tool Icons.

On my 4K screen, even selecting the largest settings renders the icons too small in toolbar, even with the clearer "Traditional" option selected (black on gray). I don't know how to select Traditional any more, since MakeMusic decided to hide or remove the setting in its latest version of Finale.

The only solution I found is lowering the resolution of my computer's display. This option is not much of a compromise, since 4K is only appreciable when viewing high-def content, like 1080p+ video. For me, 2048 x 1152 is fine.

I use 2 monitors. I place the palettes and playback controls on the second monitor. The definition of the second monitor is set to a smaller value, so the palettes can be much bigger. This could be a solution. A second (even small) monitor would be cheap.
