I am a new user on a Mac and we use Finale for some basic editing for our church choir. We want to create rehearsal tracks of SATB parts like what is in the youtube video below. Was this produced in Finale? If so, can someone advise me on the basic steps taken to create this. How labor intensive would this be, assuming I can scan the music into Finale. Also, would you recommend SmartScore for scanning the music into Finale?

P.S. I have contacted the owner of the youtube channel, but no response. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

No, it’s not Finale.
You can do the same thing in Finale, although I can’t give you instructions. But if you look for how to take a video recording of your screen, you should come up with some hits
search: quicktime screen recording
Or, someone else will be along who knows how.
SmartScore is wonderful. I use it constantly.

The program used in the video looks like MuseScore. Can't say what they used to capture the video, however.

I've produced audio only rehearsal tracks (basic piano sounds) for my choir this past year. Doing just audio is a time consuming process. I've also taken all parts separated (and separate click track) and exported them to use in my studio recording software. I can only record up to 3 people at one time safely in my set up at church.
