Any way to thin out accent articulation?

I know this is super picky but I was wondering if I could change the width of the accent articulation, since in Finale it's a little thicker than what I'm used to seeing.
The world would be a better place if we were all a little more kind <3

Do you mean thin the line thickness, make the accent wider, or narrow the gap on the left? I am not sure exactly whet is needed.andronymous wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 1:03 amI know this is super picky but I was wondering if I could change the width of the accent articulation, since in Finale it's a little thicker than what I'm used to seeing.

You are talking about the accent character in the Maestro font - right?andronymous wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 1:03 amI know this is super picky but I was wondering if I could change the width of the accent articulation, since in Finale it's a little thicker than what I'm used to seeing.
No matter whether you need the accent glyph to be less wide (left-to-right), or you need a thinner line thickness, try decreasing the font size.
The default size is Maestro 24.
Try e. g. Maestro 18 (which is 75 % of 24).
If you need a narrower gap on the left, try another music font, e. g. Engraver Font Set.

And when you have found or created a thinner accent as a new articulation defintion, search the old accents and replace with the new ones with this window: https://usermanuals.finalemusic.com/Fin ... SARTIC.htm

If you just edit the existing Accent, then you won't need to replace it. And, if you want that for all documents, then resave the Default file with the modified Accent.
