Is there any way to delete the contents of one stave in a score? I don't want to actually delete the measures, and don't want to delete a region, but want to 'clear' three of the four staves in a lengthy composition, leaving the other intact.

Mass Mover tool: Click to the left of the staff in question (in either Page or Scroll view). This will highlight that staff alone. Backspace key to clear all data.

Thanks for that. I forgot to explain that I didn't want to delete all of the staves in question, only about 60%. Is there a simple way of doing this?

Select the appropriate regions, and while in the Mass edit tool, use "clear" (top left key on numeric keypad).
