Looks like the Finale Maestro fonts were corrupted when you were creating and entering custom articulations. If such is the case, reloading the library file will not resolve the issue. You will need to get a copy of the font file then restore it, using your file manager in the OS. If you are using Windows, I can let you have a copy of mine. But I may be mistaken. You are using "Finale Maestro"; I have "Maestro" (MAESW__TTF). let's see if someone else can find a better coarse of action.

Some expressions and articulations are not yet recognized by Human Playback when created with the new SMuFL font Finale Maestro.

Without having v27 (waiting for the "user" testing phase to complete), I'm guessing the issue is that the Font slots used in Finale Maestro are not being recognized by Human Playback. If that is the case, I recommend using Maestro instead of Finale Maestro until they fix Human Playback. I'm guessing that may be a complicated, if even possible, task.

The hassle of jumping to fast on an upgrade. OK Forward and onward. I do not understand all that I read. I have not delve into Finale past the front, not behind the scene. If I make a new score with the old font. then copy and paste the individual score in. I hope that works.
I have tried that with just the Marimba section and it worked although I had to redo the articulation. I let you all know how it goes.

When you open an old document, does it switch you to the new SMUFL font by default? If so, that was a big mistake on their part, since they didn't seem to test either the plug-ins or playback.

Big Big mistake. Do not change back to the old font. You well lose all the work you did in the new font. I did what they suggested and now every singe score I did with the new font is filed with a lot of symbols and no notes. It well play but you well see no notes. Any thing you did before the update is still good. So how do I get back to the new so I can get my scores back.

Boy I really messed up this time. I tried to reinstall Finale. Bad mistake. Now I have to redo all the scores created with the new Finale.

I think I well change to Maestro Font Default.musx. and then reenter my scores made under the other. Thanks for your help. I hope other well read this and learn from my mistake.

Good idea. I have definitely put F27 in the Don't Use It, Yet drawer, and I'm sticking to F26.

The cause of the v27 issues is that 27 is the cube of 3. There is symbolism here, if comparing to a Rubik's Cube. We just need to find someone to solve the puzzle. Then it will work just fine.

And furthermore, if you add the 2 and the 7, you get 9. Apply its cube root of 3, as Zuill noted. Write the 9 three times.and you have 999. Invert that, and it’s 666. Maybe we should be reading the Book of Revelations, rather than the Finale manual.

Now, where did I put my tinfoil hat?

According to Jason Loffredo (he made interesting videos about Finale 27), an old file opens without any problem in Finale 27 and retains its "old" Maestro font (non SMuFL).
