Dear all,

Normally when I enter notes in Finale it resizes ( don't know if that's he word) everything automatically while I enter notes. This gives me enough space to enter every note I need. However as of today it doesn't work like that and my measures just stay the same size which makes it increasingly difficult to enter 16th notes. I attached a picture as an example. Anyone know what happened and how I can fix this?

Kind regards

Select the music and apply Utilities -> Music Spacing (Note spacing), then Utilities -> Update Layout.
You can also activate "Automatic Update Layout" in the Preferences -> Edit.

Automatic Update Layout should be the default. I never, and I mean never, have to do Update Layout.

Thank you guys, I have selected automatic update layout in the preferences. It was unchecked (I think this is standard unchecked since I have never touched it).

I haven't tested it yet but it should fix the problem.

Thank you
