Hello Forum,
please point me in the right direction?
My score should have the measure numbers on the bottom of the page under the last stave. Instead, the measure numbers appear in every stave of every system.
Please see the screenshot.
Here is also a screenshot of the settings I used to try to set this up.
How do I correct this?

As a first step, try these changes, in the dialog box Measure Number (shown in your screen shot):
Show On: Bottom Staff (= de-select Top Staff, select Bottom Staff)
Exclude Other Staves (select)
Show On: Bottom Staff (= de-select Top Staff, select Bottom Staff)
Exclude Other Staves (select)

I have added an additional staff at the bottom of the score for that purpose (0 staff line, nothing, just the measure numbers).
Measure numbers are set (as Peter suggested) to display in the bottom staff only.
