I would (in the Repeat Tool)
- select the relevant measure,
- use the command in the Repeat menu: Create First and Second Ending

NB:
To understand how the First Ending works, also (in an empty document) try creating a First Ending of 3 measures.

Just use the Selection Tool to select the first bar; right click, and select "Create First and Second Ending" from the Repeat sub-menu.

i can do the coda but no 1 and 2 numbers
just the sign which means that you have to go back and jump at the measure that i pointed
but no 1 and 2 number when i right click and select "Create First and Second Ending" from the Repeat sub-menu.
don't know how to create these 2 numbers

You did select the First Ending region before choosing "Create First and Second Ending" - right?

Attach the Finale document here.
I am confident that some of the gurus here can find out what is going on in the document.

ok thanks for both of you, now i get it
the problem now is the playback that doesn't obey to the 1 and 2 repeat
but the playback tool you know the thing that walks through the measure doesn't even work
it stays a while when i trigger it through space and left click and then it begins to work
while the song continue to play so it works really in a strange way ...
but that's another problem

thanks again this forum is really great in the end...

The playback should be correct right away if the repeats are created via the Repeat menu.
I would redo them. Delete all repeats (handles).

Select the whole region that should be between the repeat bars, and in the menu, select "Create Simple Repeat".
Select the region that should be your first ending, and in the menu, select 'Create First and Second Ending".
Playback should be correct.
