Hi,

How to make sharp or flat like this before note (#) or (b) or to add note head in ( )?

Thanks

1) Speedy Entry, place the cursor on the note, type P
2) Create an expression for parentheses around a notehead.
P.S. : EngraverFontSet has noteheads in parentheses.

I think P will work in Simple Entry, which beginners are more likely to use, as well.

It does. Select the note, and P will enter the accidental in parentheses. Another tap removes the parends.
