And you can assign a variety of clap sounds to the percussion notes by using a plug-in clap machine. 99Sounds offer a good selection of and claps as freeware (no ads). I always construct a Percussion Layout for claps, wherein I assign selected percussive sounds to positions in the staff, and remove unwanted sounds to simplify note entry.
