Hi composers, arrangers,
I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to on the internet.
Is there a possibility that finale recognizes accidentals on chromatic lines? For example, when I want to write a chromatic line up from C using my midi keyboard, finale writes C - Db - D - Eb - E. But I would like to C - C# - D - D# - E since it is an upward going line. Even though I'm in a sharp key, finale still prefers flats every now and then.
Is there a possibility for finale to recognize accidentals on these chromatic lines?
Thanks in advance!

Finale menu > Enharmonic Spelling > Favor Sharps
Note that this is a program setting, not a document option.
