enlarge the stems ?

hi
i searched on google but impossible to find
i want to enlarge the stems so that the player can see the notes mucn easier
here is what i have , they are the last notes on the right the f and the g
any suggestions?

If I understand you correctly, it's the "Special tools"/"Note Position" tool. Click in the main tool palette on the wrench then the very first tool in the palette is ONE quarter note (not the one with two noteheads) with arrows/triangles left and right. If you stay with your mouse pointer above the tool, it should say "Note position". Click on the measure and every note gets a rectangle above it that you can move the note with. Is that what you mean?

exactly , thanks for the tip , now it's good
but i still don't understand why finale makes such a mess when writing the notes
you always have to recheck , other wise your playe
r will be very angry..

I suspect that the problem can be fixed with the following means:

1) Apply Music Spacing, and Update Layout.

2) If the notes are still “too much squished together”, then perhaps the system is locked with too many measures in it.
Try 1) again, with fewer measures in that system.
