Okay...
There are times I want to change the margins, in particular, I sometimes want/need to change the title header, tightening it up so that I have more room on the page for one more stave. I thought it would be an easy fix: Page Layout button/page layout pulldown/systems/edit margins, change the top margin to something like "1" from the 1 and whatever decimal it might have.

However...

Nothing happens. I try it again and again. Sometimes I need to exit the operation and go back into it. Eventually, if I'm lucky, the margin changes.

Why is this so hit or miss? I encountered the same thing when I was working with PrintMusic. Shouldn't you be able to just change the number and hit "apply" and have it move?

In no way meaning to cast any aspersions on you, since I do this myself ;) - Have you set a range of systems (in the same window as changing the margin) to which the change applies?

More specifically, make sure you have the right page number set in the dialog.
