Hello- I'm trying to keep a voice (instrument) until a certain point in my score and then delete it while causing the other voicings underneath at that point forward to move up and make them closer together in order to save space and condense an 8 page piece. Whenever I do this it's a train wreck because I don't want to do it to the whole document. It throws everything all over the place...makes it illegible.
I need that particular voice for the first 13 measures then at 14 forward I want to delete it. I have tried to repeatedly attach an example of what I'm talking about but it tells me my .jpg file is too large. Was 1.7 MG. I tried a .png file as well but still too large for some reason. My problem happens on the first page and that's all I was trying to attach.
Please help! Thank you so much!!

Select those empty measures, starting in a new system. Use the Staff tool to Hide Empty Measures. You may need to fiddle with the layout, from that point.
