hi there
i tried to copy articulation like the pedal and the end of the pedal but selecting these 2 articulations with ctrl c and pasting ctrl v didn't work
i tried also to select them by dragging around these 2 articulations , ctrl c and v , no luck either
is it possible to copy articulations in finale?
thanks

Copy and Paste works with the Selection Tool, not with the Articulation Tool.

Instead, use the Copy Filter:

Selection Tool.

don't know how you do it but for me it didn't work

for the rest i tried too , selecting only the articulations that i want and in the end : impossible
maybe there is a way of doing that by dragging around , selecting or others..
but right now i'm stuck with this problem.
i guess i will have to create an articulation for my whole score which is for 10 pages and for each measures i have to put this articulation
thanks though for your help

Are you using the line with a hat, or the Ped and * indications?

A screenshot will help.

Make sure "Use filter" is checked on the Edit menu.

If the pedaling is really the same in every measure, you can probably just write it for a few bars and the right "sim."

I meant "and then write sim." It stands for "simile," "in a similar manner." A common notation. I used the filter to copy the pedal markings below, by the way.

Check "Articulations." With the Selection tool, click so the measure is highlighted. Then copy.
