hi
i know how to make cross staff beamin as long as it is for example a g below the c 4
but what if i want to go much deeper than that , like to go on the f key at c1 ??
this is way to hard to make it on the g key and go to the c1 on the f key and then hit the alt + down arrow to put these notes in the f key??
so how can i do that?
thanks
cross staff beaming very hard

Are you using Finale 2014 on Windows?
You can use programmable transposition metatools.
To do so, switch to the Selection Tool, and select the region you need to transpose (perhaps only a single beat).
Then, hit the number 9 key to transpose the selected up by an octave.
Hit the number 8 key to transpose the selected down by an octave.
The transposition metatools are located on the number keys 6-7-8-9.
The default programmed metatools (which you can re-program as needed):
9 - Octave up
8 - Octave down
7 - Scale step up
6 - Scale step down.
Also, in the Simple Entry Tool you can move a selected note up / down with the arrow keys.
If I misunderstand you, then I apologize.

thanks for the reply , i just did it and it worked
the problem is not that , the problem is when i try to cross staff beams with notes that are really down like c3 in f key , and i have to say that these notes will be played by the right hand , then it's quite impossible to write
hand writing is easy but with finale , impossible..

Are you wanting to do something like this?
Then select the top staff and run the TG Tools Cross-Staff plug-in with a split point:
Write everything on the top staff like this:
You don't have to count all the ledger lines--enter them an octave or two higher and then repeatedly use the key which moves the selected note down an octave (Shift+down in Simple Entry) to get them where you want. Then select the top staff and run the TG Tools Cross-Staff plug-in with a split point:
