Use the SmartShape line tool to draw a horizontal line (the default) and then use the handles to move it to where you want it.

I must be doing something wrong. I have tried several times and different ways but it just isn't working for me.
In the smart shape tool the one marked line tool is the one you're talking about, right?
I can draw the line. It just does seem to do anything.
I can not duplicate this staff. No matter how I try it just doesn't come out to a good count. In the smart shape tool the one marked line tool is the one you're talking about, right?

The one marked Line Tool, yes. Double-click at the starting point, keeping the click button down on the second click. Drag it to the ending point. This can be tricky, so try again if nothing happens. If you need to adjust it afterwards, you can drag the little handles of the endpoints to be where you want. (I don't think you need a custom line.)Pat Fox wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 7:35 amI must be doing something wrong. I have tried several times and different ways but it just isn't working for me.
