I have a problem with Finale 27.3 for Windows. In a 3/4 time section of the score, Finale puts in rests correctly for one of the voices but not for the other voices.
Finale does not let you delete incorrect rests. I have tried a number of tricks, including rebooting, but nothing works. Please explain how to get Finale for Windows to recognize time signatures.
How do you get Finale 27.3 to recognize the time signature?

The first thing to do is to change your preferences as shown below.
It looks like you started out entering music in 4/4 then changed your mind.
You can certainly delete rests. You may benefit from watching the tutorials, but to clean up this problem, you might try Plug-ins/Note, Beam, and Rest Editing/Check Region for Durations.
