I recently extracted a piano part from a score, then optimized it. After the optimization, the page numbers were incorrect. The part had bass and treble clef activity through the second system on the second page. For the rest of the piece, a single treble clef was sufficient. The second page is numbered 3, the third page is numbered 4 and the fourth page is numbered 5.

When I edit the Frame Attributes, it's marked to attach to pages 2 through 0.

I'm using Finale 2006D for Mac. Please let me know if you need any other information.

I need some other information:

Text Tool.

Drag-select the (page number) text block's handle, and go to
Text menu > Edit Page Offset...

Let me know, what you find out.

I get the Page Offset dialog box

"Add to current page number" followed by an empty field.

I find if I fill with zero, the page numbers are correct.
