Finale Forum

Hello,

I've just discovered this forum and it's great. You seem like a lovely bunch of people.

I'm running Finale 2006 on a PC. I've hooked up my Yamaha PSR 295 via a USB to utilise the hyperscribe function and it's all going pretty well.

However I notice that a lot of my same pitch notes are being tied to one another - rather than having their durations altered. Is there a way to tell Finale to redraw the tied notes with one longer note?

Two things:

1. Options menu > Quantization Settings

2. Mass Edit Tool.
Mass Edit menu > Retranscribe
