Hello folks.

Nice to meet you all.

I wonder can you advise me?

I can enter notes ony my staff using Simple Entry tool and MIDI keyboard. Switching to the Speedy Entry tool however, pressing keys on the MIDI keyboard having selected a note duration produces a sound but no note on the staff.

I'll be grateful for any guidance here.

Speedy entry works a little different to Simple entry. I would suggest you read the manual or work through the tutorial first.
