but today I got Finale 2007 on the recomendation of the guy in the store. "Oh, if you write jazz this'll do everything" and he made it sound so great. But now I'm at a total dead-end and the jive manual isn't helping. I'm used to putting in the notes manually at the computer, although I do have a MIDI keyboard. I was doing alright until I:
copied four bars and now I can't edit the last bar,
can't create blank measures over which the chord symbols go for the solo section,
can't add measures in the middle of the score; they all go to the end and that screws up the places where there are odd meters,
can't get the systems to line up evenly on the page.
I have a lot of old Encore charts on an ancient Mac IIci, and I have to have four of them ready for a rehearsal next Wednesday. I'm bricking it here man. Can anyone help a guy out?
