Margin problems when converting documents to pdf format ...

I've just printed out a composition after having converted it into pdf format. The bottom margin is much too large, and yet it was okay in the original Finale document. The page size in both formats was set to A4.
Any ideas on what went wrong and what to do?

1. Did you check the Page Size both in Finale's Page Layout Tool (Page Layout menu > Page Size...) and in the printer's Page Setup dialog box (File menu > Page Setup...)?

2. What are your settings in Program Options > Save and Print?

3. One thing more comes to mind (but I doubt that this is the culprit):
Page Format > Score...
Page Format > Parts...
