For various reasons I've had to get rid of my old PC and get a laptop, which has Vista Home Premium as its OS. I've reinstalled Finale (2005) on the laptop, but when I save old or new files (not 'save with name'), a message comes up telling me that I cannot change the name of the file!! Why am getting this message, and how can I prevent it from appearing. Apart from this Finale seems to be running normally.

I would move up to Finale 2008. Previous versions of Finale may give you problems, as it did with mine. You can still open your files in 2008.
