Sorry for the novice question, but how does one add more staves? The staves seem to stop after 31 bars. I've tried using the stave tool to add more but it adds staves for other instruments instead, whereas i'm just trying to create more staves for the instrument i am composing in already.

Ian is correct. Finale is based on the measure. Add more measures to create more staves and more pages.

...and if you are using Finale 2008, the command "Add Measures..." can be found in the Edit menu instead.
