I'm having trouble tying a chord across a bar-line.

Single notes work as long as I've got the correct duration set when I enter the note (I'm using simple entry), though I can't seem to make the "modify duration" work if it's going to force a tie to the next measure.

When dealing with chords, this just compounds the complexity of entering the music.

I'm trying to do something like this:

What's the most streamlined way to enter this so all the notes tie across the bar-line, and the accidental isn't shown again at the beginning of the second measure?

Thanks!

Quickest way to do it: In Speedy, enter the final eighth-note chord as a quarter note. Dialogue box will give you the option to "move extra notes to next measure." Result: eighth-note chord tied to eighth-note chord, no accidental showing in second measure, playback accurate.

There are lots of other ways to do it, I expect.

When you're in speedy edit, you can also press the equal button (=) when the cursor is positioned on the last note of a measure. That will give you a tie to the next measure.

Make sure that the cursor is not on a note but above or below the whole chord.
