Switching between tools

Is there a way to quickly switch between tools without having to use the mouse to click on the tool you want?

There's an option (under Program Options) to show Tools on the tool bar. That can be accessed with alt-T, and will show a list of tools which can be selected from the keyboard. I forget how to program Function keys to switch tools, but that's another possibility. And isn't there a TG Tools method of creating shortcuts that would do this?
