Whenever I specify a pickup measure, The end measure is supposed to be incomplete. So I usually have an extra beat at the end of the piece. If the time signature is 4/4, and the pickup measure is 1 beat, how can the make the end measure 3 beats.
I usually just keep it at 4 beats then hide the rest. Just wondering if there's another way. Thanks

with the time signature tool you can change the time signature for that measure without showing it. Click into the measure, and in the following dialog box select 3/4, open the "otions" and check for showing 4/4.
