Im about to explore the dynamic capabilities of Finale..... Meaning more specifically...

1.. I would like to use the Garritan string section.. Pick a solo violin... and turn each note into a staccato note.... I would like a run of these staccato solo violin notes at a very fast rate of speed... Yet , I would like each not to sound independently with attack..... Or the sound of attack on each note...

OR a fast counterpoint section using these solo strings... I need to have each note independent of the other... Not blurred together becouse thier to fast...

WHen I have tried this with 16th notes in Finale 2009.. They sound mushed together...

IS their a way to get them to sound staccato at fast speeds..

Thanks...

The best way to think of it is, could a live player play it that fast? If not, garritan probably cannot also as the samples from the sound library are sampled live instruments.

finale is really a notation programme, not a sound editing programme. If you want very fast violin samples without the attack, my advice would be to use sound editing software...
