need to change the instrument

I started a comp for voice and piano and now I want to change it to clarinet and piano. Can I change this without re writing the entire composition over again.

First, click on the staff tool and select "edit staff attributes." Within that, select the future clarinet staff and click on the box that says something like "independent key signature." Exit that and click on the key signature box. Click on the future clarinet staff and change the key signature to Bb major (I'm assuming you're writing for the Bb clarinet). Then you can select the whole clarinet staff and transpose the notes down a whole step. Or, if you'd rather not do all this, keep the clarinet staff as it is and tell the player to transpose.

You can also set your staff to a transposing instrument. Open the staff system attribute box and choose a transposition (A or B flat I suppose). That's it.
