Hello, in my (english) Finale2000 there was an option that allows to choose whether eighth notes should be grouped as 2 or as 4. I don't find that option anymore in my (french) Finale2003.
Can anyone help?

you probably mean the beaming of a 4/4 measure. there is an option to beam 4 eight notes together: options - document-settings - beaming.
I hope you will find it, I have the German version.
