Save it as a template. You can save various libraries, but you would need to load them every time that you wanted them, Also, you can't load your staves, and instrument list settings, plus a lot more.

I had a similar question.

However, how do I save my custom layout as a template? And how do I load it back up everytime?

You save a layout as a template by doing a Save As... and choosing Finale Template (.FTM) from the file type. You can put it in the folder with the other templates, and open it from the splash screen or File menu, as needed.

Please add the program you're using to your signature, in the forum Control Panel.

Usually, ftm files are read-only so that you don't accidentally overwrite them. Once you save your file as a template, navigate to the file in Windows Explorer, right click on it, choose Properties, and then check Read Only. Windows will still let you overwrite it, but at least it asks your permission first.
