how do I get the hyphens between syllables?

here's another
when I have lyrics in the box from an old song and I delete the old lyrics, it deletes the new lyrics as well....make sense?

Why not delete the old lyrics before you enter the new ones?

Thought about that.....you should be able to just delete the ones you want. I think it's a program deficiency. It does say "edit lyrics" in the pull down

K. old song loaded. deleting everything on staff including lyrics...etc. key in new song. start entering lyrics. old lyrics are still in the edit lyrics pull down box even tho not in music. new lyrics ar added as an addendum to the old song lyrics....savvy?

Why are you doing that, rather than starting with a clean document/template?
