When I apply TG Tools Modify-Modify Slurs-Convert Measure Attached to Note Attached, the meter change moves to a different measure!
I have a 4/8 bar followed by 5/16 then 7/16.
After applying the plugin, the 5/16 and 7/16 move over a bar to the left, where the 4/8 bar used to be!
This results in many bars having the wrong number of beats, of course... Big mess.
Watch me suffer the consequences of my ignorance! https://www.dropbox.com/s/fp1h0y84w3twha2/TG%20Plugin%20Modify%20SLur%20changes%20meters.mov?dl=0

No promises, but try this:
Take a look at
Preferences > View > Measure Numbers
Is the option
Display Defined Measure Numbers
selected?
Instead, select the other option:
Display Actual Measure Numbers
Check whether selecting Display Actual Measure Numbers solves your problem.

They don't exist as an option to be added to a file in v27 AFAIK.
But they definitely exist in old files. And are a problem for the Perfect Layout program I have begun to rely on.
They slide around when spacing is changed. That's why attaching slurs to notes is the better option.
That's why TG Tools has the option to change them from measure to note attached.

Thatnks for the suggestion, Peter. Unfortunately it makes no difference - the plugin changes the actual measure in which meter chages occur and all subsequent bars complain about too many notes in the measure, when Speedy Entry tool is used. It's not as if the plugin simply moved the entire passage beackwards to a different bar - the notes stay put, but the meter changes move!
