Other than ebay, any suggestions where I can buy finale software? Any year from 1998 to today-full version. My 1998 disk was just stolen by some rat.
Thanks in advance

If you have your registration number for the 1998 version, or other proof that you bought it, you should contact MakeMusic. It's possible that you'll qualify for the purchase of Dorico at the discounted price, and you'll get Finale 27.4 thrown in.

Your disk was stolen? What -- the original installer floppy disk? Was it not already installed on a computer, with a backup?

I'm surprised that you can still run Finale 98 on a modern computer. TBH, you'd be better off with the latest version of Dorico or MuseScore.

Original CD disk which had to be re installed every12 or so times the program was run. Is installed on a computer but at this point computer is requesting the original to be put in again before it can be accessed, making it unusable.thanks for the reply

Check this Dutch site, which offers the 27 version (English) to users who have a previous version.

An upgrade to 27 still needs MM to acknowledge the purchase and authorise it to your account, and MM has stopped selling the upgrade (other than 'free' with the Dorico crossgrade); so I'd be a bit cautious. Ask the site to confirm exactly how this works.
