Does anyone out there use a wide screen monitor [19" or bigger]
How does finale look on it? Devo

I use Finale with a 24" monitor - resolution: 1920 * 1200 - and it's one my best investments.
Now I can't stand using Finale on a smaller monitor.
It seems that it's the same with screen resolution and RAM:
You can never get too much of it.

I use a 22" monitor that I have modified to pivot. A $4 lazy susan bearing from Ace Hardware does the trick. Pivot Pro software ($6 on eBay) orients the image.
I can work either in landscape looking at lots of measures, or in portrait looking at lots of staves.

I also use a 24 inch screen, and like Peter, I would say this is the kind of investment that you"ll never regret.
The screen can even pivot, which is great for large orchestras. If pivoting is important for you, make sure the screen allows it physically and that the software is available (there are differences of requirements between Macs and PCs; I can develop about the Mac if you want)
And I use my "old" 19 inch for my tool palettes, mixer window, and other software windows (with audio, pdf, etc...).
Don't hesitate...
