Hello forum users,

I recently upgraded my os system from 10.3.9 to 10.5.7, and the finale featured that used to work fine to save as audio file, now keeps giving me the error message that "could not create the audio file (the file may be in use by another application)". Anybody have any idea what I can do to regain the possibility of saving the files as audio?

Thanks in advance, and happy writing,
aniramex

suppose you change the name of the file that you're saving the audio as, then that new file name can't be in use by another application...

by the way, i used 2006d with 10.5 for a few months. It wasn't supposed to work, but it did, until one day, when it suddenly didn't and that was the end of that...Nothing could convince it to start up...

so I bought 2008.

(I always seem to get every second version of finale...)

For MacOsX Leopard, you have to use version 2008 or newer. Earlier versions may work at first sight, but some functions are broken. The website of Finale lists the incompatibilities.
