fast foward by measures

In Finale 2010, I can't seem to play music from any point but the beginning, when I try to fast foward measures in the playback box, it is locked, greyed out, so as it cannot be clicked, and I'm not sure why this is...

Make sure that the playback controls window in fully unfolded. Use the triangle to do it.
You should now see "Playback region" with "from" and "to" boxes.
