Hi all,

Quick question. I need to make the chord symbols for my guitarist a little bigger. So, I don't want to increase the size of the chords overall; just on the guitar parts. So, to do that, I've selected the measures of the guitar part, then selected Utilities > Change > Chords... then changed the chord size to 130%.

But, the kerning of the guitar symbols doesn't seem to adjust along with the size (see the attached screenshot). Is there a way to adjust the kerning at the same time I adjust the size?

As you have found out, changing the chord size does not adjust the kerning.
It is not a problem if you only change the size by a few percent.
But it does not work well when increasing the chord size to 130 %.

Instead of changing the chord size I would add an extra, {chords only} staff to the guitar part.

Copy the chord symbols to the extra staff.
You can (use the Staff Tool to) hide the chord symbols in the regular guitar staff.

Set up the extra staff so that it only displays the chord symbols, nothing else (= no rests in empty measures, no clefs,
no key signatures, no time signatures, &c.)

Use the Resize Tool to resize the extra staff.
