Finale...you have finally done it. This is my last day I will ever use you.
Whether it's not being able to have 2 files open at once without having display issues, or deleting auto save preferences on every start-up.
Whether it's asking me to submit feedback every time I open you, or crashing during human playback. (I got the bug fixed so shhh)
whether it's changing midi setting every time I open you, or deleting my templates, I am done with you.
Time and time again you prove to be the most bug filled, unresponsive pile of GARBAGE I have ever had the displeasure of using.
If ANY other software behaved like you, their CEO's would go bankrupt and they'd be forced to live on the street.
You were the first music program I ever used. You were my first love...yet you managed to ruin it.
Into the trash bin you go...and your box is in the dumpster. You will not hurt anyone else in this house ANY MORE.

This is your first post to this forum, and given the tone of your comments that's too bad. If you had listed the difficulties you are having, some of us might have been able to offer solutions. After all, many of us use Finale professionally, every day, all day. World class publishers such as G Henle and Breitkopf & Haertel use Finale almost exclusively. It is possible to use Finale successfully as long as you understand the ins and outs.
This is a user forum, and has no connection with Make Music. Your complaints fall on knowing and sympathetic ears, but there is nothing we can do to change Finale as it exists right now. I'd suggest you contact Make Music directly with your comments.

I have experienced the frustration with Finale that you have expressed. But in most cases, I discovered that the problem was not with Finale but with my using Finale incorrectly. These problems were solved by users in the old Finale forum and now in this forum. Occasionally, creating a support ticket with Make Music has also yielded solutions to some problems.

I have similar complaints to violin makers. All my attempts to make music on those instruments failed. So I ended up playing the accordion.
Or could it be user errors and user shortcomings?
