Hey all,
I'm running Finale on Windows 10 and am having trouble with Hyperscribe. Everything seems fine, my start signal for recording is "none (record immediately)", my count-in is two bars, and my MIDI keyboard is hooked up and working fine with other types of notation. When I'm in hyperscribe and click on a measure to begin, it does not start recording. It doesn't count in or anything. Any ideas for settings on how to change this? I'm happy to provide setting screenshots if that would be helpful at all.
This is for a college class and my Mac-only professor is not being helpful :(
Thank you all!!

When you say "with other types of notation" do you mean in Finale (i.e., does Simple or Speedy entry work?).

Simple and speedy entry both work fine- it's something specifically with HyperScribe.

Update: now, whenever I click on a measure in Studio View (specifically on an audio track) while I'm in HyperScribe, a pop-up says "Finale has encountered an error and will shut down" and then proceeds to do so. Fun.
