I'm happy to announce MusAnalysis is now available on
Notation Central! MusAnalysis is a text font that allows you to type Roman numeral and functional analysis into the score. It uses glyphs from Academico and Bravura and is designed to be legible at small point sizes. It works in Dorico, Finale, Sibelius, Musescore... as well as Word, Libre Office, and any program that supports OpenType features (ligatures, kerning, and contextual alternates).
You can type in all the standard Roman numerals:
...as well as a variety of lines and such.
Below is a brief overview video. MusAnalysis is ready for release, but I do plan to continue refining it, so I welcome your feedback. Thanks!

Oops... there's a little error in the script (I think), so at the moment it doesn't work in Finale. I'm working on fixing that.

Maybe the same problem as with the multimeasure rest (failure to do ligatures?).
These things are so cool, Dan! I hope you try to market them to the makers of Finale, Sibelius, etc., for inclusion in their product.

Thanks! Yes, I believe that's correct. Finale is unfortunately the picky one here: Dorico, Sibelius, and MuseScore all recognize the ligatures successfully.
I'll post an update here when it's fixed.

Dear Dan,
your font is perfectly working on Mac (I tested it with Finale 26, iWork Pages, InDesign and Illustrator (OS Mojave)).
This is the first specialized multipurpose text font, created with extraordinary attention to details which utilizes two important font features — namely ligas and contextual alternates.
It's a master piece and I believe the font will satisfy the teachers, students and colleagues within their activities.
Just to put in one word — fantastic!
Best regards,
Wess

Just a quick note to say that MusAnalysis has been updated on Notation Central. I’ve added a ton of things (that “.1” is a big number), and there’s comprehensive documentation now.
Please let me know what feedback you have and I’ll continue making improvements.
