I was using Finale v. 25.5 in a Mac mini running High Sierra without any problems. But now I'm using a MacBook Pro 2019 running Mac OS Monterey v. 12.6.1. The program works fine but there's only a minor problem: when I enter a text with an apostrophe in the end and I hit return, Finale shuts down. If I have to insert a title for example, IT'S GOING ON, the only way to do this is type IT(space)S GOING ON. Then I have to type a , (comma) in separate and insert it between the T and S.
I cannot figure out why is this happening, I have never seem a thing like that. Any help? Is this version (25.5) compatible with Monterey?

Sorry for the late response - but I also am running the same MacOS as you, same hardware I would guess (2019 MBP 16"), and have never seen this happen.
I even created a new document, added apostrophes in the wizard, then added them all over the document using the text tool, lyrics too. No errors.
I only mention this because Monterrey seems to not be the issue here. Hope this helps.
