How easy might it be it with linked parts to have two different page formats, some to be printed to A4 with 6.0 or 6.5 mm stave heights and some to B4 with 7.0 mm staves?
(FYI wind, brass, plucked strings, keyboard and probably timpani would be to A4. Bowed strings and the percussion score would be to B4.)
If it can't be done directly from one file for the linked parts, then there seem to be at least two obvious ways round this: either two linked part files, or extracted non-linked parts. Or can it be done from just one linked part file?

Assuming (or hoping) that your score is perfect (and only then), make a copy (or copies) and use these for specifically formatted parts versions. I do that all the time. As far as I know, it's really the only (and generally accepted) way of doing this. One drawback is, of course, if you do discover a mistake or make a change, you need to go back to your original master conductor's version and update it there as well.

Thank you for responding.
It seems to be more or less as I suspected…

Just saying-
Dorico offers this flexibility and more. You can have different page formats among the linked parts in a file, which are known as "layouts" in Dorico-speak. Each layout can have its own music spacing parameters and page layout (staff spacing) parameters. Page layout is accomplished automatically in Dorico, as long as the parameters are set properly. No more messing with system margin dialogs, as in Finale.
Whether or not it's worth the considerable time and effort required to give the Dorico demo a decent lookover is the big question. I personally would be tempted to make the switch, but none of my clients use Dorico presently. There are also some workflow issues that for me make Finale a lot easier to use.

This is possible in one file...
When you are on one part go to the page layout tool, menu - page size... There you can change the size of one page, one part, some parts, all parts or all parts and score.
I hope this is what you need...
