Hi all! I have a weird bug that's happening. It only happens when I'm working in Finale, but I honestly can't tell if it's a Finale bug or an Apple OS bug. (see pic below)

When I'm in Speedy Note Entry, I'm pretty frequently encountering "ghost" text over my workflow. Not a workflow killer, but definitely annoying as I have to click outside the area of what I'm doing to get it to go away, or sit there for several seconds until it disappears on its own. One of the two.

I've checked, and it's NOT a file that is sitting on my desktop behind the Finale window. Instead, it's about the place on the screen where I would load templates when creating a new file. Sometimes when my mouse is a little lower, I'll see a different template "ghost." But, I'm usually seeing that specific one. And it's a template I haven't used in months, so it's not this file's template.

Has anyone else encountered this? I just got a new Mac a few weeks ago, and upgraded to Finale 27 at the same time (from 2014.5).

Here's my specs: Mac Mini (M2 Pro), OS Ventura 13.2.1, Finale 27.3.0.160

Yes, I have indeed seen this, and I'm on F27 using macOS Ventura. Quitting Finale does make it go away and I'm not sure why it happens since it's been very sporadic. It could certainly be a Mac bug or a Finale bug and I'm suspecting it's the latter since I've not seen this happen with any other app.

Oh good! So it's not just me. Lol.

Yeah, I haven't seen it in any other apps either, which makes me suspect Finale. Well, hopefully in an update this bug disappears. :)

Thanks for replying!

It’s not just you, indeed. I have the bleeding filenames, as well. I predict that it was introduced with an update, nobody will admit, find, or fix it, and it will go away with some future update.
