How do I delete a page with content?

After importing an XML file into Finale the first two pages with text makes no sense so I want to delete them. However I can't find any option for this except for if the pages are blank which they are not. Furthermore I'm unable to delete the content of the pages so that they will become empty (blank).

First you need to know what is on the page. It has to be text or articulations or expressions etc. With the page showing on screen click each icon, text, articulation, expressions, lyrics, etc., and the respective handle will show so you will know that is what's there.

Then just show that page on scree and select all and hit delete. Remember you can have any possible item or a combo of items.

I tried that but nothing happened when clicking or drag-selecting the small squares and items.

I ended up creating a new XML-file but before doing so I deleted the two first pages instead.

There should be an option for deleting any page regardless of content or not.

You could have copied just the content you wanted and pasted that into a freshly made blank Finale file.
