Hello all,
I am trying to figure out how to use tab but the tab doesn't even make sense. A little help would be appreciated.
Attached is the example. The tab notes don't even line up with the notation.

The tablature is an octave low. Select the guitar staff and type 9 to transpose up an octave.

closer but when I play the tab on the guitar, the notation ascends, then descends, whereas the tab keeps ascending. Also, in no way does the notes played via TAB line up with any notation notes.

I figured it out, under preferences I hadn't unchecked respect instrument ranges.
